1. How Membership Works
Focus Room offers monthly membership plans across both Peelamedu and Thoppampatti branches. Once you choose a plan and complete payment at the branch, your membership becomes active from the date of joining and is valid for 30 days (unless otherwise specified for your plan).
2. Choosing a Plan
Members can choose from plans based on daily hours of access (6, 8, 10, or 12 hours/day) or full 24/7 access, depending on their study schedule. Plan details and pricing are listed on our Plans page and may be updated periodically.
3. Access Hours
Most plans operate within the 9 AM – 9 PM window. Members on the Unlimited (24/7) plan may access the centre at any time, subject to the branch's security and operational guidelines.
4. Branch Access
Membership is generally tied to the branch where you registered. If you'd like to use the other branch occasionally or switch branches, please speak with our staff — this may be accommodated based on availability.
5. Seat Allocation
Focus Room operates on a combination of individual cubicles and shared seating, depending on the plan and availability. Specific seat assignments, if applicable, will be communicated by staff at check-in.
6. Renewal
Memberships do not auto-renew. To continue after your plan's validity period ends, you'll need to renew with staff at the branch before or shortly after expiry. Renewal pricing follows the current plans listed on our website unless a special offer applies.
7. Code of Conduct
All members are expected to:
- Maintain silence and avoid disturbing others in study areas
- Avoid eating at desks (use designated lunch/fuel areas)
- Keep personal belongings secure — Focus Room is not responsible for loss or damage
- Treat staff, fellow members, and the facility with respect
8. Rule Violations
Focus Room reserves the right to issue warnings, suspend, or terminate membership (without refund) in cases of repeated rule violations, disruptive behavior, or misuse of facilities.
9. Cancellations & Refunds
Membership fees are generally non-refundable once a plan is activated. For exceptional circumstances, please discuss with branch staff — refund decisions are made on a case-by-case basis at Focus Room's discretion.
10. Changes to Plans & Rules
Focus Room may update plan pricing, hours, or membership rules from time to time. Existing members will be informed of any changes that affect their active membership.
